Christine's Blog and Wiki Search
Okay so I did not realize that this page was suppossed to be focused on my experience and the process I used to search for entries on my wiki page. I really like my othrer blog page and it worked well for my presentation on PBL but this is more focused on the required topic.
Honestly I had no trouble searching for online activities, websites, and internet sources related to problem based learning or technology in nursing education. When you search technology in nursing education as a key term in Bing it brings up over 19, 100,000 results. So I had to narrow my search. I searched for problem based learning sites that used video or had slideshows to explain. I was also aware from past experience with flashcards that there are many sites to use to create flashcards in the medical field. Problem based learning has been used quite a bit and I had to filter through all of that. But I found lots of good sites. I found a video, slideshow. I found numerous articles. I also found the comic strip I used as a trigger.
It seems like there is no end to what you can find on the internet. Focused searches and using credible sources are probably the most important things.
Please let me know what you thought about problem based learning session we had yesterday. I appreciate any comments or thoughts.

  1. I enjoyed the idea of the comic strip opening. I did not know that you could use other means of opening in the problem based learning. Your session was very informative.
